Guys Leading Everyone Exceptionally
GLEE club year one came to an end with so many different emotions. I am super proud of the students and the young men they became. There is undoubtedly going to be some leaders among the first annual GLEE club, class of 2017. Now like anything it is time to turn the page and move to a new year with new faces and challenge an new group of young men to surpass the old. This will be the 2017-18 class of GLEE. I am also excited to announce that we will be adding a new mentor, Andy Boyer one of our second grade bilingual teachers. Now students will be able to hear from Mr. Boyer weekly along with myself and other men who are looking forward to working with such promising young men.
The Plan
The Plan is simple. We will meet on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 4:30. During the first 45 minutes we will discuss the qualties of a leader and what traits help become great young men. After we have the discussion piece, we will go outside and "bond," using the qualities that we have discussed we will use the sport of the season to follow up. This will be a time that students can have a little fun and learn what it is like to cooperate and compete with one another.
Why?
The Mission is simple: To Challenge each male student to exceed what is expected of him- in the classroom, in the community, and in life
Starting at Ginnings Elementary
